Time Inc.'s new Industry City outpost features furniture and ironwork by ATH Studios, including a massive, custom stairway. Here's a link to the article in Brooklyn Magazine:
ATH Studios is proud to have been a part of the creation of The Pennsy, Penn Station's newly opened culinary destination at 2 Penn Plaza. The 8000 square foot space is home to exciting fast food menu concepts of NYC celebrity chefs. The street level, airy, industrial space contains open seating, consisting of a 40 foot wood bench and slatted wood canopy, and The Pennsy Bar, which were constructed by ATH Studios.
In collaboration with the owners and architects at Industry City, ATH Studios constructed a new cafe which features Industry City's iconic aesthetic of raw steel and reclaimed wood. In spite of the heavy, solid nature of steel, the cafe has an airy, open feel due to the slotted steel fabrication of the gated walls which are topped with a windowed transom. The slotted, steel gates can be raised and lowered through a system of mechanical gears designed and created by ATH Studios.
